Currently have 195/60 R14 Michelin, how long can this tire lasts approximately ? Also it seems that the car (Honda Accord EXR 1994) is skidding on icy surface, any recommendation which tire (and manufacturer) to use ?IP: Logged |

I've had three sets of Michelin MXV series tires in a 195/60/14 ('88, '91, and '94 Acura Integras) and I've gotten anywhere between 26k to 32K out of them. Not only are they average in the dry and fair in the rain and poor in the snow, they seem to get worse exponentially as they wear!! By the way, I have a set of Pirelli snows (Winter 190's) in your size used 1/2 season on my last Integra (almost perfect condition), which I bought after extensive research for the best handling snow tire with decent treadlife. I have Michelin XGT V4 tires on my '97 Integra and I have nearly 30k currently and they are just about finished. Decent mileage is the only good thing I can say about them. I can't wait to get these evil, greasy things off my car. WET = ICE
