After reading as much as possible here and elsewhere, I had all but decided on the Bridgestone Revos for my Olds Intrigue. I was upset to find out they don't come in a 225/60R16! I don't want to replace my wheels, so the closest size seems to be the 235/60R16. I calculate that this would make my speedometer read less than 98% of the correct reading. Is this a fair trade off, or would I get better handling with the Bridgesone RE930 or 910s. Note, I'd like a moderately good handling tire with good wet traction and decent snow performance. It should also be quiet. I was also considering the Micheline Energy MXV4+.Thanks. -John IP: Logged |

Well...wait, I check the size for you but it seems REVO do comes with your size 225/60/16 BUT it's Z rated with 240 treadwear. I would concern Energy MXV4+ would only provide OK snow traction. You can check the Tire Rack for the customer survey result(but do not buy the whole story, just as reference) Also, I would think the Micheline Pilot XGT series would provied more snow traction.IP: Logged |

If you can give up ride try the Firestone Firehawk PV41 or Goodyear RSA. Great handling wet and dry, 'V' speed rating, decent snow. Ride is somewhat down though..IP: Logged | |
