Hi,Any ideas on replacing the Goodyear Eagle GA? I live in Toronto & was thinking of the Bridgestone RE930. IP: Logged |

I have a set of BFGoodrich Touring HR4 on my 96 Jetta. Very quiet and cushy-rided compared to GA. Sorry, I have no experience on RE930. But so far, many people on the web praise re930 for its handling. I've heard that they have "decent" snow grip too. Dunno about Toronto, but in the area I lived(Vancouver), Bridgestone re930 is quite expensive($135 CAN). At that price, u can have some V-rated tires. Hope it helps. IP: Logged |

I planned to by RE930(205/55/16), I wait for an month but they are in backorder so I swithed to yoko's AVS S4 V rated tire, I paid 660CND (same as RE930). Forget to mention I got my tires from Wheels Direct in Scarborough(416)754-0997. Hope this helps...[This message has been edited by ben (edited December 14, 1999).] IP: Logged | |
