My new A4 has the Eagle LS tires on them - 205/60R15. Even though the A4 is far more competent than my Honda was, it's definitely the car and not the tires. I get the same "slideways" feeling around quick corners with the LSs that the OEM Michelins gave me on my Hondas. I had the opportunity to hit a pile of slush at 50mph with them today and didn't like it. They didn't tread the slush very well at all. Long story short, I get the feeling that the LS is definitely in all sense of the terms an 'all-season' tire. It tries to do too much and ends up not excelling in any one area. Initial impressions at 2000 miles are that they are - 'eh'. I suppose thats typical for an all season tire. I've gotten used to dedicated snows and sumemr tires which each excel in their respective areas. When the snows are off in the spring, the LSs are getting pitched with only 2000 miles on them for a set of Dunops D60A2s. Would still like to hear others feedback, too. If anyone wants a set of nearly new LSs 206/60R15, I'll make you a deal! Seriously :-) trippp@wans.net
