Has anyone had any experience with Nokian NRV tires? Do they provide a really stiff ride?IP: Logged |

What a great tire. Replaced my O.E Michelin on my Lexus Ls400 for Nokian NRV, very good ride and comfort, wet grip is just phenomenal and as it goes will do better millage than the Michelin.Very very happy about my pic!IP: Logged |

Bill, Thanks for the info. I had Michelin MXV4's on my Volvo S70 and did not like them. They rode hard and did not handle all that well even though they are rated very high in Consumer Reports. Traded them in for Nokian NRW winter tires and find these to be excellent. Just bought a set of NRV's to use as summer tires.

Ed, What tire size? The NRVs are good tires, but NOKIAN has had many defects on certain sizes. I went through 2 sets (8!) of bad ones in the size 215-55-16. At first rode and handled great, but defects made them shake like crazy! I have switched to DUNLOP SP9000. A side note NOKIAN HAKKA snow tires can't be beat!!!!!! I will still use them even after that. IP: Logged |

Hi Adam,Next spring I'll be buying tires for my wife's car. I am considering either the Dunlop 8000 or 9000. Are you happy with your Dunlop SP9000s? Thanks. Bill IP: Logged |

Bill the Dunlop SP9000 is a great tire! They grip well, low noise, and ride nice on my new SAAB. Expensive but worth it. For snows only the NOKIAN HAKKA1....IP: Logged |
